Soule Creek Lodge
From Ferries:
Take Hwy 17 towards Victoria. Stay in the right hand lane. You will see a sign for Hwy.1 Nanimo. Take this exit. It will put you on the Trans Canada Hwy.1.
Travel down this route and look for a sign that says Hwy.14 to Sooke and Port Renfrew (Exit 14). You know you are on the right road when you pass by the "Super Store".
About 40-50 minutes from here you will be in Sooke. About another hour from Sooke is Port Renfrew.
Once in Port Renfrew you will pass by the General Store. 1/2 km pass the store you should see our sign on the left (the road is Powder Main) turn onto this road which quickly turns to gravel. We are 2km up the gravel road and are the only house on the road.
From downtown Victoria get on Douglas St. This will lead you into Trans Canada Hwy 1 towards Nanimo. Look for Hwy #14 - Sooke and Port Renfrew sign. Then same directions as above.
Note: Our sign is not lit up at night so if you pass the "Coastal Kitchen Cafe" You have gone to far.
Note: Driving on gravel roads Classroom 101- Pick up a little speed before the inclines and try not to spin your tires by giving it too much gas. Use 2nd gear. Our road appreciates it. Thx.
To arrange shuttle service from Victoria, Nanaimo and along the West Coast Trailheads and the Juan De Fuca Trails call or visit West Coast Trail Express - (250) 477-8700 , www.trailbus.com.
